Troubleshooting functions have now landed in v.1.3.8 of the Premium plugin and will soon follow in the Free plugin!
The new Troubleshooting page allows admins to send a test email to a mailing group, to ensure that the mailing settings are correct and there is server compatibility. It also displays whether the essential imap_open() functions are enabled on the server, as the plugin will NOT work if these are disabled.
We will continue to enhance this page with more options, so you can figure out where any setup snags might be coming from. This will in turn allow us to focus more time on development, and less time on support for the many, many permutations of server configurations out there…
